Mackintosh Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a wonderful architect, artist and designer during the late 1800s to the 1930s in Britain (working at about the same time as Frank Lloyd Wright in the USA). Born in Glasgow, he trained at the Glasgow School of Art where he met his wife Margaret and, whilst still a young man he won great acclaim in Europe. His work fell out of fashion in his later years and unfortunately he died in relative obscurity. More recently his style has become very much appreciated and respected again, and many people love his elegant designs. Bible Texts and Words of Comfort and Joy Our range of Words of Comfort and Joy are taken from many choice Bible Texts. We have added our own design embellishments to these wonderfully uplifting Texts which make them most suitable as little gifts for someone, perhaps, who is going through a hard patch, or is experiencing the joys love can bring.
