Charles Rennie Mackintosh Stained Glass
Charles Rennie Mackintosh was an innovating architect, artist and designer during the late 1800s to the 1930s in Britain. Born in Glasgow, Mackintosh trained at the Glasgow School of Art where he met his wife Margaret Macdonald, and, whilst still a young man he won great acclaim in Europe. Rennie Mackintosh's work also made a strong influence on Frank Lloyd Wright in the USA. His work fell out of fashion in his later years and unfortunately he died in relative obscurity. More recently his style has become very much appreciated and respected again, and many people love his elegant designs.
