Bird designs for Window Decorations We now have quite a large collection of bird designs from the UK and abroad. They are framed with traditional stained glass lead, hung with trace chain, and supplied beautifully gift boxed. Click on the picture to view the collection of birds.
Cathedral Stained Glass Designs Winged Heart cathedral stained glass window reproductions make truly inspirational art gifts. Our range of cathedral design glass gifts include several examples of Rose Windows, and the beautiful William Morris spiritual praying Angel shown here. With the transference of light through the jewel-like colours of these pieces, some of the spirit from these ancient churches and cathedrals lives on in our lives.
'Stained Glass' Paperweights Our new 'stained glass' paperweights are unique. They feature our hand-painted glass set into quality French glass paperweights. The effect is very interesting as they are completely transparent (no felt necessary on the bottom of the paperweight), and we have had a lot of interest since we introduced them last autumn. They measure 70mm by 20mm (2.75" x 0.75"), and we put them into attractive ivory gift boxes. Like all of our products, of course, we make them here in the borders of Scotland and Cumbria.
We are gradually introducing more and more designs in various collections into the Paperweights. There are now Cathedral and Heritage designs, Scottish designs, Celtic, Birds and Flowers, and some examples of 'specials' we have made for customers.
William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones William Morris was a leading pre-Raphaelite and a universal man. He founded Morris and Co., a company of artists and craftsmen dedicated to producing works of beauty and usefulness, which remain a lasting legacy to this day. It was his collaboration with Edward Burne-Jones, an artist and stained glass designer, on many of the Morris and Co. stained glass window projects, that led to his most successful works. We have reproduced details from some of William Morris' windows, which are in cathedrals and churches around Britain, and have found that they are amongst our most popular handpainted stained glass pieces.
Celtic Glass Window Decorations Our Celtic Window Art and Gifts at present feature our 6" Roundels, 6" Panels and 2.5" Roundelettes in a large range of designs and colours. All of our products are beautifully gift boxed in ecologically sound materials which are recyclable, so they make attractive and unusual gifts for anyone who is enthusiastic about Celtic Art.
Charles Rennie Mackintosh Stained Glass Charles Rennie Mackintosh was an innovating architect, artist and designer during the late 1800s to the 1930s in Britain. Born in Glasgow, Mackintosh trained at the Glasgow School of Art where he met his wife Margaret Macdonald, and, whilst still a young man he won great acclaim in Europe. Rennie Mackintosh's work also made a strong inluence on Frank Lloyd Wright in the USA. His work fell out of fashion in his later years and unfortunately he died in relative obscurity. More recently his style has become very much appreciated and respected again, and many people love his elegant designs.

We have many designs, and the present range includes not only Greetings Cards, Photo Frames, Clocks and Tealights, but Jewellery Boxes and Window Roundels in several sizes. Beatrix Potter glass and cards. Our hand painted glass range of Beatrix Potter is made at our studio in Brampton, Cumbria. In the distance the beautiful mountains of the Lake District can be seen from close by. We're proud to be one of the very few manufacturers of Beatrix Potter products made in Cumbria. All our glass products are packaged in very attractive ivory and pale blue gift boxes and make beautiful gifts for Beatrix Potter lovers and collectors. Wild Flowers and Garden Flowers. We produce a lot of Flower and butterfly designs!! They are made in several styles and sizes of product. There are our miniature 2.5" Roundelettes, 4" Roundels, and 6" Roundels. Our 'stained glass' Roundels and Roundelettes are hand painted, framed with traditional lead and hung with trace chain. They are also supplied with window suction cups. Our floral Trinket Boxes and Photo Frames are extremely popular too, and very pretty gifts.
Floral Photo Frames and Clocks Our original style flower Photoframes and Clocks have been beautifully hand painted. There are three sizes of frame and six flower designs - Pansies, Irises, Poppies, Lilies, Daisies and Tulips. Our 'Lasting Impressions' Clock is available in one size and most designs. Farming and Country Themes In our beautiful part of the world, farming is very important. Cattle and sheep can be seen in many of the fields and on the hills. Farmers out and about on their tractors are a familiar site, as are their collie dogs. Often, when we go to work along the country road we see herds of sheep in the road being encouraged along by diligent and hard-working collies.
Cat Designs on Glass Cats! We love them, and have drawn designs showing cats of all descriptions. The hand-crafted glass ranges below include window decorations, little jewellery boxes and photoframes, and greetings cards with hand-painted window stickers attached.
Dog Designs on Glass We have produced a number of dog breed designs on glass - mostly in our very popular 2.5" Roundelette window decorations. The Collie designs, however, are also made in our larger 6" diameter window Roundels, and the 'Collie Pups and Lamb' design is available as a small Jewellery box and 'Photocard' Photoframe. Dolphins and Sea Themes Dolphins, seabirds and sailing boats - these are a few of our sea themes at the moment. More on the way soon. (Write to us with suggestions if you can think of sea themes you would like to see in painted stained glass.) Dolphins are always popular. Puffins are also loved by people in the UK (and whereafter else they nest), because they are such great little characters. Hang a Puffin in your window and remind yourself of the glorious British coast and islands!

Teddy Bears for Teddy Lovers. We are not Teddy mad, but know a number of people who are. Mind you, we've still got our own Teddies looking down at me in the room where I'm writing this from! Our Production Manager is a Teddy collector, and hasn't much more room left in her house. Literary Window Art Gifts We are celebrating our British literary heritage with very attractive portraits on glass of Shakespeare and Robert Burns, some of the characters from Chaucer, and the intriguing Shakespeare 'Love Knot' Roundel, which is a reproduction of a piece of glass found in his home, New Place in Stratford on Avon. Robert Burns is one of our favourite poets, and lived in South-West Scotland for most of his life. For everyone who admires his work, our hand-painted glass Roundel is a decorative reminder.
Inspired by Clarice Cliff Our hand-painted designs on glass have been inspired by a wonderful British designer of the early to mid twentieth century - Clarice Cliff. Clarice produced hundreds of colourful and exuberant designs for tableware and pottery, and is best known for her Art Deco designs.
Art Deco Inspired Glass These are newer introductions, and have an Art Deco, yet modern, feel. We have designed this range for our Triangle Box Candleholders, Small Tower Clocks and our Square Photoframes in lovely co-ordinating colours. The Candleholders come supplied with five tealights - which look very pretty sparkling through the translucent painted glass when they are lit.
Suns and Moons Suns and Moons are favourite themes of ours for our stained glass. It's amazing what a difference a cheerful faced sun makes in a window on a bleak winter's day. We have one in our bedroom window, and wake up to the sun every day - no matter what the weather. Our moon is a meditative, dreamy one - also good for a bedroom window.
Peace Designs Some of the glass we have designed include symbols of Peace - something we all hope for in the world. Our 'Doves of Peace' Roundelettes, Roundel, Jewellery Box and Photoframe show doves flying in front of a rainbow (in the West a symbol of God's promise of hope for the world), and our 'Peace' rose design features the pale gold, pink tinged rose that reminded the man who first grew it of a rosy dawn - the beginning of a new and better time after a time of war. So he called it 'Peace
Occasional Gifts - Romantic and Traditional. For special occasions, christenings, weddings and anniversaries, we have our hand-painted glass three part photoframes. The photograph is placed in the middle, with decoration either side. They make beautiful keepsakes and reminders of happy events. Presentation boxed in ivory and gold.
Fairy Gifts, with Swarovski Crystals There are nine little fairies in our Fairyland here in the hills and dells of Cumbria. The Rose Fairy Queen rules the kingdom of boy, girl and baby fairies. It is she who decides what colours the newly emerging flowers are going to be painted by her different crystal colour fairies! They are all pictured on our Crystal Pendants (lovely small window decorations with coloured Swarovski crystals decorating their transparent cord hangers), Jewellery Boxes, small Clocks and Photoframes. Perfect gifts for little girls to collect - and the young at heart!.

Scotland's Heritage Scotland's historic, rich heritage and landscape has been the inspiration for our stained glass and glass gift designs. Ireland's Heritage The first designs in our Irish design range are Celtic Shamrocks and Claddagh Rings handpainted on glass. They are available as handpainted glass Window Art Roundels and 'Roundelettes', Photo Frames and Trinket Boxes. Our little shamrock designs make lovely Irish gifts and our Claddaghs are beautiful wedding presents, or gifts to say 'I love You' on Valentines Day.
Symbols of Faith and the Spiritual Journey On this part of the site we hope to put meaningful symbols of some of the world religions, and we are also putting a section on Meher Baba, who said that all religions sprang from the same human need to find God, and that they are equally valid spiritual paths.
Decorative Arts and Crafts The Decorative Arts and Crafts collection is a range of flowers inspired by the Arts and Crafts style. They fall into two style ranges as shown below. Full of colour and of formal design, they are very striking and classic, with appeal to all horticultural enthusiasts. The large panels are particularly effective.
